4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (lat) will be ready to pitch in his scheduled start on Sunday, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo. deGrom was scratched from his start on Monday with right lat inflammation, but the team felt that he would be ready to pitch again over the weekend. General manager Zack Scott said that deGrom, "is ready to roll for tomorrow," during a Zoom call on Saturday afternoon. Managers can breathe a sigh of relief now, and start looking forward to deGrom's matchup against the Diamondbacks on Sunday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
