4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) remains on track to begin a minor league rehab assignment in about a week or so, according to Mets' beat reporter Anthony DiComo on Saturday. Assuming he has no setbacks in his rehab from Tommy John surgery, Syndergaard is scheduled to return to the Mets' rotation in mid-June. Syndergaard missed the entire 2020 season due to Tommy John surgery, following a poor 2019 campaign. Given the consistent positive reports regarding his health status and return calendar, Syndergaard remains a low-risk, high reward option for managers who have room to roster him.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
