Brandon Crawford Hits Seventh Home Run
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford hit his seventh home run of the year Saturday night against the San Diego Padres, a three-run shot off of starter Joe Musgrove. Crawford went 1-for-3 in the contest with a walk. Crawford has long been known as a glove-first shortstop, but he's now on pace to top 20 homers in a season for just the second time in his eleven-year career. He's simply scalding the ball of late, with a 1.591 OPS over his last seven games. He's also added three steals on the year, and is a very solid middle-infield pickup while he's hot for fantasy managers in all league formats.
