Carlos Correa Not In Sunday's Lineup Against Blue Jays
4 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays. Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports that Correa is healthy, and the team opted to hold him out of the lineup because Sunday was a day game immediately following a night game, and also because they are in the midst of a stretch of 13 games in a row without an off day. Correa has struggled a bit at the plate early in the season, slashing .246/.294/.421 with five home runs, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored. Robel Garcia will get the start at shortstop on Sunday, and will bat seventh against Toronto starter Nate Pearson.
