4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Colin Moran (groin) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left groin issue, according to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Moran injured himself in Saturday's game when he dove back to first base to attempt to turn an unassisted double play. He got up in pain and walked gingerly back to the dugout, as he was replaced by Todd Frazier. Moran has been off to a good start this season, slashing .297/.352/.468 with four home runs, 19 RBI and 10 runs scored in 32 games. With Moran out, Frazier will likely see an uptick in playing time, but for now Frazier can be ignored in most formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
