4 years agoFree agent relief pitcher Shane Greene signed a one-year deal to rejoin the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Greene spent part of 2019 and all of 2020 with the Braves, posting a 3.27 ERA with a 20 percent strikeout rate in 52 1/3 innings with Atlanta. He'll look to shore up an Atlanta bullpen that has struggled this year with a combined 4.56 ERA and 1.49 WHIP, and he should be a good option to target in SV/HLD formats. Will Smith has the closer role locked down tight, but if he were to go down with injury, Greene would be a guy to target as potentially being in the mix for saves.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
