4 years agoThe San Diego Padres placed shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. and utilitymen Jurickson Profar and Jorge Mateo on the IL Tuesday due to health and safety protocols. The assumption is the move COVID-related, so fantasy managers should keep their fingers crossed this is precautionary. The timing is unfortunate as the team heads into Coors Field for a three-game set. The most fantasy relevant of the bunch, Tatis has registered an .867 OPS with nine homers and seven steals in 108 plate appearances this season and should be taken out of lineups. While the Friars haven't announced corresponding moves, infielder Ha-Seong Kim will certainly be one of the beneficiaries to start while Tatis and Profar are out.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
