4 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano picked up his first save of the season, holding the Braves off the scoreboard in the team's 5-3 win. He worked out of a bit of trouble after allowing an infield single to Austin Riley and a walk to Pablo Sandoval, but he left both runners stranded when Ehire Adrianza flew out to end the game. Romano struck out one in the outing as he looks to regain his dominant 2020 form after spending the early part of this season on the IL with an elbow injury. The closing job in Toronto has been a carousel so far this season, but the right-hander is the best bet for save opportunities moving forward with Rafael Dolis and Julian Merryweather both hurt.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
