Kris Bryant Sidelined On Wednesday With Sinus Issue
4 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (illness) is absent from Wednesday's lineup versus the Cleveland Indians. Bryant left Tuesday's contest in the bottom of the sixth inning with a sinus issue that was making it difficult for him to breathe. It's a relief for fantasy managers that this shouldn't be a long-term injury and Bryant should be considered day-to-day. Bryant has been off to a great start in his walk year and is hitting .308 with nine home runs, 22 RBI and a stolen base. Infielder David Bote will replace Bryant at the hot corner and bat fifth. Bote is having a tough season with a .184 batting average, but has contributed 15 RBI on the season. Bote is nothing more than a cheap dart throw in DFS versus Sam Hentges on Wednesday.
