4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielders Mike Trout, Justin Upton, and second baseman David Fletcher are out of the starting lineup on Wednesday night. Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports that manager Joe Maddon is giving the trio a day off, so that they can have the benefit of back-to-back days of rest between Wednesday night and the team's off-day Thursday. Maddon added that Trout, Upton and Fletcher would all be available if necessary later in the game. Jon Jay, Juan Lagares and Jose Rojas will enter the lineup for the Angels on Wednesday as replacements. Look for the Angels' stars to return to action in Friday's series opener with Boston.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
