4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff (wrist) has been cleared for weight room activities. It's clearly a good sign that he'll be allowed to lift weights, though a clearer picture of his availability for game action won't arrive until he attempts to swing a bat, which he is expected to do when the Twins return to Target Field this weekend. Kirilloff had clubbed four homers in three contests- and was working on a seven-game hitting streak before his wrist injury. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for updates on Kirilloff's health over the weekend, though it might be a good idea to have a contingency plan in place should the talented prospect require surgery.--Tim Capurso
