Jake Odorizzi “Looked Good” Throwing On Wednesday
4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (forearm) "looked good" throwing during live batting practice on Wednesday. The veteran hasn't played since straining his forearm at the end of April, and with the Astros dealing with some injuries in the rotation, his return can't come soon enough. However, the 31-year-old hasn't done much this season, recording no wins, one loss, and a 4.91 ERA throughout two starts on the season. Based on his statistical output over the years, his numbers in 2021 aren't out of the ordinary, so fantasy managers without room wouldn't lose much by dropping him.
