4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Yu Darvish allowed one run (none earned) in four innings of work Wednesday against the Colorado Rockies. Starting in Game 1 of a doubleheader, Darvish was lifted after just 76 pitches for a pinch hitter that ultimately helped the Friars win. Although that's no solace to fantasy managers, the right-hander permitted just two hits and a walk while striking out a pair. Darvish now possesses a superb 2.08 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 31 percent strikeout rate in eight starts. He'll have a rematch opportunity against the Rockies at home next Tuesday.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
