4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome pitched a scoreless frame in a losing effort to the White Sox on Wednesday. Colome hasn't garnered a save chance since being demoted to lower leverage situations, though he has pitched quite nicely. He has yet to allow a run in five innings of work in May with a 4:2 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Colome has likely worked himself back into manager Rocco Baldelli's good graces, though it will still be interesting to see who he turns to in the next Twins' save chance. It will likely be a near-even split in the ninth inning between Colome and Taylor Rogers moving forward.--Tim Capurso
