4 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano is taking a seat on the bench for Thursday's game against the White Sox. Sano is not in the lineup for the second time in three games amidst a 3-for-21 slide with 11 strikeouts in May. The slugger is generally streaky at the dish, though it's concerning to see his expected slugging percentage and barrel rate at career-low marks. The Twins will likely continue to exercise patience with Sano, though it could soon be running thin, as beat writer Aaron Gleeman pointed out.
