4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story is getting the night off on Thursday, according to Daniel Guerrero of MLB.com. Manager Bud Black said that it was just a day off, and they will try to avoid bringing him into the game Thursday. Story has gotten off to a good start this season, slashing .278/.351/.474 with four home runs, 21 RBI and 22 runs scored in 37 games this season. Look for him to return to action on Friday, but for now Alan Trejo will pencil in at shortstop and bat eighth against the Reds.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
