4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon (back, hamstring) is good to go for his scheduled start on Saturday against the Royals, per manager Tony La Russa. Rodon was dealing with back and hamstring tightness and had his start pushed back a couple of days as a result, though it was never believed to be anything too serious. The 28-year-old has dazzled in 2021, as he owns a perfect 5-0 record, 0.58 ERA, and has a 44:9 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 31 innings pitched. Rodon ranks in the 90th-percentile or better in expected batting average, slugging percentage, and ERA- and his 37.3 percent strikeout rate is by far a career-high. The Royals present a relatively tough matchup, though Rodon has earned the trust of his fantasy managers this year.--Tim Capurso
