4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta picked up his fourth victory of the season in his return from the injured list on Friday. Arrieta went six innings versus the Detroit Tigers and allowed four hits, two runs, one walk and recorded just one strikeout. Arrieta was impressive throughout the contest and both his runs allowed were back-to-back dingers by Jake Rogers and Robbie Grossman in the bottom of the sixth inning. Arrieta now has four quality starts in seven appearances. Arrieta will carry a 4.10 ERA into his next matchup versus the Washington Nationals on Wednesday and is worth a look in that contest.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
