Joc Pederson Stays Hot With Three More Hits
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson remained hot on Friday versus the Detroit Tigers with a 3-for-4 performance. Pederson started the season slow, but was dealing with a wrist issue that sent him to the injured list. Since his return, Pederson has been on an absolute tear. The slugger hasn't shown much power yet, but he is now 15-for-31 since returning from the injured list on May 4. He has also picked up five RBI during that span. Pederson got the start versus left-hander Tarik Skubal and has been getting plenty of action versus lefties this season. The power should eventually come for the proven power hitting outfielder and managers should take a look at Pederson with the hope that his hot bat will lead to some dingers. Pederson will look to keep it going versus Jose Urena on Saturday.
