4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Estevan Florial was promoted to the team's Triple-A site on Friday. Florial has gotten off to a hot start at the dish for the Yankees' Double-A affiliate, clubbing four home runs in his first nine games played. The 23-year-old has only played a couple of weeks above A-ball due to injuries but is now only a step away from the majors. It's probably premature to expect Florial to be called up to the big leagues this season, though, with Aaron Hicks (wrist) potentially sidelined for a while and Clint Frazier and Brett Gardner underperforming, it certainly shouldn't be completely ruled out. Florial has 20-homer, 20-stolen base upside and has shown the ability to hit for average.--Tim Capurso
