4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras will get a rare day off on Saturday versus the Detroit Tigers. Contreras has been on a tear this week and has seven hits over his last 13 at-bats with a home run. He remains one of the best options behind the dish and is hitting .246 with seven home runs and 26 RBI this season. Contreras should be expected to be back in the lineup on Sunday. Catcher Tony Wolters will replace Contreras on Saturday and bat ninth. Wolters has just three hits in 20 at-bats and will look to improve those numbers versus Jose Urena.
