Tyler Mahle Goes Seven Strong Innings
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle pitched well in a 6-5 win over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. Despite pitching in hitter-friendly Coors Field, Mahle allowed just two runs over seven innings of work while striking out four. He did not factor in the decision in a game that took 12 innings to decide. Following the solid start, Mahle has a 2-1 record, 2.93 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 52 strikeouts in 43 innings of work. Cementing himself as a high-end fantasy starter, Mahle needs to stay in starting lineups for his next start, which comes against the San Francisco Giants.
