4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo had three hits on Saturday, including his seventh home run of the season, during the club's 6-5 loss to the Houston Astros. The 27-year-old outfielder has rediscovered his power stroke in May after hitting just two home runs in April. His ISO rate has jumped from just .084 last month to .327 so far this month. The power spike has coincided with a more aggressive approach. His walk rate in May is just 4% compared to 22% in April. The new baseball is quieting offenses around baseball but few players can match Gallo's raw power. As long as he stays healthy, he should hit 30 or more home runs this season.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
