4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) and infielder Jeff McNeil (hamstring) have exited Sunday's game with hamstring injuries. Conforto grabbed his hamstring while running down the first-base line, ultimately leaving the contest. It's not clear how McNeil suffered his injury, though he too left with hamstring tightness, an unfortunate occurrence after he missed time due to cramps. The Mets have been bitten by the injury bug lately, so hopefully, Conforto and McNeil can avoid stints on the injury list.--Tim Capurso
