4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (oblique) will join Triple-A Omaha after the team's off-day on Monday as he continues his rehab assignment, according to Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio. General manager Dayton Moore said that the team does not want to rush things with Mondesi's recovery. He has been out since the end of Spring Training with an oblique strain, and he just recently began a rehab assignment at Double-A. Mondesi is getting closer and closer to a return to Kansas City, and he could be back with the Royals before the end of the month.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
