David Price Expected To Be Activated From IL Monday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher David Price (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the injured list on Monday, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com. Price has been sidelined with a hamstring strain since April 26, having posted a 1-0 record with one save, a 5.59 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings prior to the injury. With injuries to the Dodgers' rotation, it's possible that Price could get a shot at a couple starts upon his activation, although Tony Gonsolin is believed to be the front runner for a rotation spot when he is healthy. Price could have some value in deeper leagues and SV/HLD formats, but for now his value is very limited.
