Mitch Garver Removed From Monday's Game
4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver (knee) was lifted early during Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox. He fouled a ball off his right knee and initially stayed in the game. However, he was removed before the start of the fourth inning due to a knee contusion. This sounds like a day-to-day type of issue, so he could sit out for possibly a game or two. Willians Astudillo subbed into the game for Garver on Monday. He'll likely be asked to make a start or two behind the plate, assuming Garver misses time.
