Eugenio Suarez Homers Vs. Giants
4 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Eugenio Suarez went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in a 6-3 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Monday. Suarez took Giants reliever Matt Wisler deep in the eighth inning. He also committed his seventh error at shortstop as his transition to the position continues to be an issue for the team's defense. Overall, Suarez is hitting .162 with eight homers, 20 runs, and 21 RBI in 148 at-bats. He has started to show signs of breaking out of a season-long funk, hitting .276 with two homers over his past seven games. Fantasy gamers who drafted him just have to hold on and hope that he is beginning to put together a hot streak.
