Mike Trout Exits With Calf Strain Monday
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (calf) was forced out of Monday's game against the Cleveland Indians due to a right calf strain, which could sideline Trout for multiple games. The superstar outfielder injured his leg running to third base on a pop out to end the first inning. He slammed his helmet down and went into the clubhouse under his own power, but was noticeably limping. Jose Rojas subbed into the game for Trout, but he won't be much of a fantasy option, assuming Trout misses time. Honestly, there is no one on this roster that can replace the type of production a generational talent such as Trout offers a team. Fantasy managers will have to wait patiently until the team offers a timetable for Trout's return.
