4 years agoChicago White Sox utility man Danny Mendick went 1-for-4 with one walk, five RBI, and a grand slam in Monday's victory versus the Minnesota Twins. Mendick got the start in right field with Adam Eaton getting the night off with a lefty on the mound. Mendick came through and put the Pale Hose up 10-1 with his grand slam in the top of the fifth inning. Mendick has been playing all over for Tony La Russa and he is now hitting .265 with two home runs and 10 RBI for the season. He doesn't offer much of anything or get enough playing time to be considered outside of DFS.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
