Taylor Trammell Is Raking At Triple-A
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell was sent down to the minors to make room for uber-prospect Jarred Kelenic, and since that time he has done nothing but hit. In five games at Triple-A Tacoma, Trammell has 14 hits in 22 at-bats, with four homers, 16 RBI, and six runs scored. That all adds up to a .636/.640/1.273 slash line. Trammell is surely the next man up when Seattle needs another outfielder, and perhaps this trip to the minors has been just what he needed to get back on track after striking out in 41 of his 83 major league at-bats this year. Trammell should be on dynasty rosters only, but he's worth a follow in all formats.
