4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Cameron Maybin was traded to the Mets on Tuesday for cash considerations, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. Maybin had been playing with the Cubs' Triple-A affiliate in Iowa to start the year, as he is slashing .103/.186/.205 over 10 games. Puma reports that Maybin has been assigned to Triple-A Syracuse, although it seems like he could join the Mets soon given the number of injuries that have affected New York's outfield depth. Until he gets called up and shows that he can still hit though, managers can safely leave him on the waiver-wire.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
