4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (side) remains out of the lineup on Tuesday night, according to Kerry Crowley of the Bay Area News Group. Belt underwent an MRI for a side injury that has been nagging him for several days, but manager Gabe Kapler said that Belt has been feeling better and could be available off the bench on Tuesday night. In his place, Darin Ruf will get the start at first base and bat second against the Reds, and managers should expect Belt to return within the next day or two.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
