4 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Kike Hernandez (hamstring) has been activated from the injured list and is batting leadoff against the Blue Jays on Tuesday night. Hernandez last appeared on May 6 before being placed on the injured list due to right hamstring tightness. After a down year in 2020, Hernandez has been looking better at the plate through his first 30 games this season, slashing .239/.298/.425 with four home runs, 10 RBI and 19 runs scored.
