4 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit is getting a breather and is not in the lineup for the second game of the series against the Rangers. Voit has rattled off three straight multi-hit games and homered during Monday's contest- his first of the year- as he appears to be heating up at the dish. He should be expected back in the lineup on Wednesday. Mike Ford will get the start at first base and bat eighth against right-hander Mike Foltynewicz. Ford is in the midst of an 0-for-7 slide, but he has drawn three walks in that span.--Tim Capurso
