4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Shaun Anderson (quad) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained left quad on Tuesday. Anderson has appeared in just three games for the Twins this season, pitching to a 9.00 ERA and 2.40 WHIP across five innings. Cody Stashak, who was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on May 7, will be called up in a corresponding roster move. After a solid 2020 season, Stashak has taken a step back in 2021, allowing 10 earned runs and 12 hits in 10 2/3 innings pitched.--Tim Capurso
