4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a single and a double on Tuesday, helping the club to an 8-0 win over the Red Sox. He finished the contest going 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI, and his bat is starting to pick up steam with four straight multi-hit games. Gurriel has been a fantasy disappointment so far in 2021 with a .229/.245/.321 slash line, a 31/3 K/BB and just two long balls through 37 games. Fantasy managers who are still hanging on to the 27-year-old in deep leagues can at least ride out his hot streak, but he's not offering enough in the counting categories to stay rostered in 12-teamers.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
