4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Cody Reed (hand) is likely heading to the injured list, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Reed exited the game with trainers in the eighth inning after allowing two walks with two strikeouts in 2/3 inning of work. Manager Kevin Cash said after the game that Reed will likely be sidelined by an issue with numbness in his thumb that has already cost him time this season. He's been a decent pitcher in deeper SV/HLD formats this season, with three holds in 11 appearances, albeit with a 3.72 ERA and seven strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings of work.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
