4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco came up big for his team in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the White Sox. Polanco drew a leadoff walk in the eighth inning and scored on Miguel Sano's game-tying homer, then stepped up to the plate in the ninth with the game still tied and runners on first and third, driving a single into right-field to score the winning run. Polanco now has a hit in nine of his last 10 games- and has two homers and six RBI during that stretch. He looks like a solid middle infield option for the rest of the 2021 season, especially if he can continue his upward trajectory.--Tim Capurso
