4 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Mike Moustakas (heel) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday night's game against San Francisco as he continues to deal with a heel injury that has kept him out of the starting lineup since Friday. He has come off the bench in each of the last two games, but Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that manager David Bell said, "He's not in the lineup today, but he'll be available in the same capacity, maybe even a little more. I talked to him last night and there was thought of him being available to be back in the lineup today. We thought it was maybe a day early. A little bit of a stretch, he's still dealing with some pain." It sounds like Moustakas should be back in the lineup within a day or two, but for now managers should leave him on the bench tonight.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
