4 years agoMiami Marlins catcher Jorge Alfaro (hamstring, side) is back in the starting lineup for Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday night, according to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com. Alfaro was beginning a rehab assignment as he worked his way back from a hamstring strain that landed him on the injured list, when he began experiencing soreness in his left side that forced him out of the lineup last week. Over 10 games this season, Alfaro was off to a slow start as he was slashing .229/.250/.257. When healthy, he has the potential to be a 15 to 20 homer threat, and if you're looking for a replacement catcher off the waiver-wire, Alfaro is a guy to look at once he's activated.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
