4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling had a rough day at the office on Wednesday, giving up six earned runs to the Red Sox in a 7-3 loss. He surrendered five runs in the first inning and served up three of his eight hits allowed for homers as he lasted just 3 2/3 innings before hitting the showers. The right-hander has an ugly 7.20 ERA and 1.76 WHIP in six games this season and is perhaps pitching himself into a long-relief role with the club instead of a member of the starting rotation. He'll get the Yankees in the Bronx if he sticks around as a starter.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
