4 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso (wrist) was not able to play during Wednesday's game. After the game, Mets manager Luis Rojas said that Alonso missed the game due to wrist soreness. The organization believes the soreness could be from when Alonso was hit by a pitch in a contest versus the St. Louis Cardinals earlier this month. Luckily, the X-rays were negative, so hopefully Alonso will only be forced to miss a few games. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for more information.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
