Kyle Lewis Steals First Base of 2021
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis stole his first base of the season Wednesday, swiping second off of the Detroit Tigers battery of Tarik Skubal and Eric Haase. Lewis also went 1-for-3 in the contest with a single, a walk, and two strikeouts. Lewis has gotten off to a slow start, with a .693 OPS through his first 102 plate appearances of the season. If he can contribute in the steals category, that would go a long way to raising his fantasy floor. He stole five bases in six attempts in the shortened 2020 campaign. Lewis should be in fantasy lineups despite his struggles, as he can get hot at any time.
