Ramon Laureano Has Five-Game Hit-Streak Snapped
3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts versus Zack Greinke and the Astros. Laureano had been riding a five-game hit-streak which included two homers prior to this quiet game. The 26-year-old is still hitting the ball well, but he's seen his fantasy value plummet over the last month as he's completely stopped stealing bases. Laureano led the league with eight stolen bases on April 13 and was one of the early-season fantasy MVPs. As of May 20, Laureano is still sitting on eight stolen bases while his average sunk to .243. He's not all bad as he's still got a robust .500 slugging percentage and a .349 wOBA, but Laureano has fallen off the must-start radar in smaller fantasy leagues.
