4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Jose Marmolejos has been designated for assignment Friday. Marmolejos has been playing more frequently of late Evan White and Ty France on the injured list, and he's struggled to a .139/.266/.278 slash line for the season with only three homers and nine RBI in 79 at-bats.
