Lewis Thorpe Takes Loss Thursday
4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Lewis Thorpe was charged with his second loss of the season in Thursday's 7-1 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Angels. Thorpe pitched four innings, allowing four runs, one earned, on five hits while issuing two walks. He didn't record a strikeout. Thorpe's fastball velocity was once again down to where it was during the 2020 season when his ERA was above 6.00. The strikeout potential he showed in the minors hasn't been there this year as well, despite his decent 3.86 ERA. Thorpe shouldn't be considered for a roster spot in fantasy leagues at this time.
