Archie Bradley Bombed In Appearance Versus Marlins
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Archie Bradley allowed three runs, two earned, in 1 2/3 innings pitched against the Marlins on Thursday. Bradley struck out two, but allowed five baserunners and was not aided by an error on third baseman Alec Bohm. Bradley has name recognition as the former closer of the Diamondbacks, but he'll have to earn high-leverage opportunities in the Philly bullpen. Sam Coonrod and Connor Brogdon have both pitched well this season and Jose Alvarado has worked in the primary setup role for closer Hector Neris. With such a crowded bullpen and plenty of other quality relievers available on waivers, fantasy managers don't need to roster Bradley unless he shows he can still be an elite reliever.
