Framber Valdez To Make Another Rehab Start On Saturday
4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez (finger) is scheduled to make another start for Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday. The southpaw has been out of commission since the beginning of March due to a broken left ring finger, and with the team also down several members of the rotation, his return can't come soon enough. The 27-year-old finished the 2020 campaign with a 3.57 ERA and a record of five wins and three losses. Although he isn't a consistent fantasy option, he can make a difference if the conditions are right. Valdez is expected to make it back to the big leagues sometime in June, so fantasy managers need to hold on for just a bit longer.
