4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff had a big night in his first game back from the injured list on Friday against the Cleveland Indians. Kirilloff started a hit party in the top of the fourth inning, singling and coming around to score on a throwing error by Indians' shortstop Ahmed Rosario. In his second at-bat of the nine-run inning, he ripped a two-run single the other way to make it a 9-0 ballgame. Both of Kirilloff's hits registered exit velocities of 100 MPH or greater, as he seems to be picking up right where he left off before the injury. He extended his hitting streak to eight games and is batting .333 during that span. The Twins technically don't have an open position for Kirilloff to play consistently at- though they'll find a way to get him plenty of at-bats between left field and first base. He's a must-add wherever available.--Tim Capurso
